hey everybody, so we are trying to open a climbing gym in Syracuse, NY this year. My dad runs and owns his own business right now and wants to expand in to the rock-climbing business. We need any support we can get right now to prove to the banks that this is worth supporting. We are on Facebook now, search for the Syracuse Rock-Climbing Gym and join, especially if you are from NY. Even if you aren't from NY but you can offer some good insight, please join and help us out! Just to give you some ideas, this isn't just a fly by night operation, we have had some top rock climbing consultants, and we are currently debating between Rockwerx and Eldorado for our walls. We know the numbers, and we know this should be a success, we just need a loan at this point.

Figures, a month after I move out Syracuse. A good bet would likely be to contact the Syracuse Outing Club at SU. A pretty limited number of actual climbers, but they would probably help to put the word out. I think they probably have a FB, so you might search around. I'd also suggest, if it takes off and you get it running, put together some killer birthday party packages. The Syracuse climbing community is pretty small, and b-day parties would likely be a cash cow for you. Just a thought. You could also contact Andy @ Electric City in Schenectady, he's a great guy and might be able to give yo some tips on getting things started. Good luck man, if you get it rollin' I'll be in next time I'm home to check you guys out!

I wonder which one I would pick ;) :D I miss the I-90 Corridor. It's such a beautiful area. However I wouldn't give it up for the Sierras ;)
