hi everyone
I am going to Sydney on Wednesday and have seen a few pictures on RC.com of people bouldering on the beach . Does anyone know where this is , and how to get there .

i havn't actually seen the photos but i can almost gaurentee you that it was paml beach. there are some great problems there and obviously good landings. its in the sydney bouldering guide and access is easy(if you have access to transport). Palm beach is the most northerly suburb on sydneys coastline. just keep driving north and you'll get there. takes like 40min from cbd in light traffic and the boulders are right on the beach a little north of the main shops etc.

if you don't have a car there are buses that run but i don't knoe the detail. try www.131500.com.au for timetable info.

there are heaps of better bouldeing areas in sydney but none beats this one for location.

i dunno what photos your talking about.. but theres some pretty decent bouldering at Bronte Beach on the south side of the harbour (near Bondi, Coogee and Maroubra)... thats were i went during my summer holiday to Sydney...

also if you can cool off with some surfing or bodyboarding or skimboarding, etc...

...btw: Bronte is slightly lower-than-the-middle on the right hand side.. if you're having trouble finding it on the map :wink:
