Looking to head up to Lover's Leap this weekend. Has anyone been yet this year? Still snow? Dry? The weather forecast looks good but it is still early may so you never know. Conditions me!

Last I heard there are still snow drifts but I too would be very interested in knowing when the snow is gone, hehe.

Word on the street is that the East Wall is good and dry (-ish) although there is some snow still up top, and that the Main Wall has snow drifts at the bottom and top, making the approach/descent a little colder and wetter than you might like. The climbing should be okay, but maybe a bit wet. Go check it out and tell us how it turns out! I'm curious since it rained up there last weekend whether that helped melt out some of the last stubborn snow patches.

Hmm that sounds acceptable. We'll be heading up Sunday so I'll let you all know how it is. oh and I'm taking a couple of outdoor noobies so maybe I won't tell them I checked the weather for Strawberry (closest I could get with minimal effort) and it looks like its supposed to be in the 70's both friday and sat.

It is very much clear of snow. Only a little left in some secluded patches and along the base of the west wall in places. East wall was completely dry and I hear that the west wall is dry too although aproach might be a little wet.
