Day Three is up now

As always, nothing is without incident and life often inserts itself when one doesn't pay attention to the big picture.

There's a lot of climbing out there; endless, it seems.

There's probably one more post, and then maybe a follow-up from a return trip that "Jello" did recently on top of that (after I left).

I'm working on the last couple of days right now, but I have to wait for him to send me his stuff. He did all the climbing on the last day, but Sungam and I did a lot of pushing, and of course my flight out bookends my flight in nicely. Pirate

Thanks for reading folks! This series really attracted a lot of you.

Yeah, it really does look like a great place to head to.... not sure where on the list it is for us, but Fisher towers could be to come!

You guys did do some good climbing too.... I was just ribbing you after reading that comment from Jello about "guiding" you guys up the last bit. Heh!!

You may have not known it was me but I commented on one of the earlier blogs in this series.

You are a weirdo douchebag. Not really I was just getting frustrated from having failed so horribly and was unnecessarily pinning my frustrations on other people because of the little things they were doing that I wouldn't have noticed if we would have gotten up and down without incident. Just goes to show you, everyone can be friendly when the climbing is fun and "safe" but when things get hard and aren't going well then you see what people are really like. Both of you guys did well putting up with me. I can be a bit of an asshole. Thanks.

The final "push" is now up for reading. This chronicles our final day in Moab and the interesting bookend to my vacation (hint: think about the first few posts of the series).

There will probably be an epilogue from Jello. He returned the following weekend without me and had an interesting time with his friend "Utah," whom he and I had climbed with briefly in the 'Daks a few summers earlier.

But for now, enjoy...

Thanks man. There's going to be a few more posts, too. They'll kind be like an epilogue. Jello went back after I left and it seems he picked up where he and I left off.

Very well done. Another fine read.
Couple thoughts on push starting w/ a dead battery.
I've done it in reverse gear too. So if you're forward in an uphill parking spot that will work.
I've always had the key turned to "on" before starting to push, so that all I need to do is pop the clutch when up to speed.

Well, considering its his car and he basically pulled us up River Tower, I think he gets a pass. He 3/4 pushed on our drive back. I was driving and I helped him to start the car. I then jumped in the car and popped the clutch.

Whoah there, buddy - who the feck pulled me up fuckin' what?
Let's get one thing straight - I was there for the banter, no pulling was required.

Alright, this is true, but he did do most of the work.
