If you manage to get an old purple 0.5 BD cam unstuck on pitch 2 of Snake Dike, please drop me a line as I am very interested ($) in getting this piece back, because of its sentimental value. Thanks.

Exactly, after the traverse and before the bolt that is just below the dike.

Normally I wouldn't post for stuck gear, but I borrowed this piece from a friend and also it is pretty old, so whoever finds it might not want to use it anyways.

I hope somebody cleans it, there's not really enough room there for 2 placements. It seems like there is often a piece of gear stuck there. last time I went up snake dike there was a stuck red tricam in that spot, i really didn't think it was ever coming out, I guess I was wrong. Good luck on getting it back though, if I hiked that far and found gear, i'd probably keep it, maybe if you offer a reward?
PS I left a #2 offset nut on pitch 6 of the south face of washington column if someone finds it, it was brand new and I'd really like it back :)

Snake Dike has got to be one of the best places around to score booty - both on route and at the base.

Yeah, for sure. I just scored a new #1 BD camalot and a red BD stopper this past Sunday on Snake Dike!!!!
