What is the cell phone coverage like up there? I really want to make a trip but my wife is pregnant so ability to communicate is important.
BTW, I am using Verizon.

At the usual campground at the end of the road, I wouldn't expect any coverage, as it does not have a line of sight to civilization. You might have coverage if you camp where the road crosses the ridge, about 1/2 mile short of the end of the road.
From the climbs, similar story - probably no coverage. But I don't know for sure.
