Of course everybody knows you can see some really unique/wacky climbing gear on ebay, and i'm wondering, if anybody has actually used these nut-crack-jumar things in the top of the picture Ebay Shit looks like you set them and do a pull up on the red bar... but whats up with the one on the right... the nuts upsidedown?

In REAL gear, those would be two nuts on the same cable, with the top nut reversed These would have been set like stacked nuts, but on a single cable. Essentailly the precurser to the sliding nut. Stubai made some like these in the 70's and 80's.
