Thats very very sad news..... best of wishes go out to all the families and friends involved. I prayer the other two climbers (Micah and Wade)for safe returns.

Another sad loss. Johnny taught a clinic at Ouray the first year I went, and actually gave me a belay (along with lots of encouragement) as I flailed up my second-ever ice climb. He was a class act to be sure, and he will be missed.
