Can I get this right? You hike along the top edge of the mt. to you get to a large sketchy formation of rock on your right...then you keep walking until you get to the edge of the bank next to it at the end of the road and the rocks your talking about are below the inbankment? I didn't see much and I saw more sketchy rock then good rock to climb. I also hiked towards the big cliff that you can see from town and its just not accessible. The whole area is old open stripping pits and it was very difficult to get around except for a very small game trail that traverse through the area.

Ryan, I think we might be the only people who have explored this place. There is some good rock up there, but I know the cliff you are describing, and yes, it is very loose. The best rock is down in the Valley between there and town. A lot of good boulders and small outcroppings.
