Can someone please give detailed instructions on how to get from Luncheon Ledge (west side) to upper Broadway (east side).
I tried it a few years ago...downclimbed to far on the south end I think and may have ended up on "middle broadway" hahahaha.
I took a look a few week ago and saw basically where you step down, and around a few moves and then chimney upward but I didn't follow it through. I definately want to walk over from this side though.

Since I'm guessing you are out there to climb, take your route of choice to the South Peak, Rap down to the ledge. Wink

Yes. I've done that before. And I've scrambled up to the ledge from the east side also. I guess what I need to do is start on the ledge, then scramble around the south end to get to the Luncheon Ledge--then I'll have it dialed.

do skyline traverse as you top out on the south end scramble up and west to luncheon ledge. i believe there is a sizable pine to landmark as you come off route.

Walk south with Humphrey's Head and the Cockscomb on your left. You will seemingly cliff out above the South End. Before that happens angle left on easy ground. It it _ever_ feels, difficult... yer doin it wrong (i.e., can easily be done in Tevas). There will be a short (4-5 ft) downclimb via a wide crack with an obvious ledge below you. That is the top of Skyline and the southern end of Broadway. Once you do this once you'll wonder how it was ever confusing.

Make your way back north until you see a short (20 ft) chimney with a large chockstone. Wriggle your way up the chimney. Continue North until another longer (30 ft) chimney. You can either go up this chimney (which will put you at the base of Discontent) or traverse out right to a series of easy steps. Easy but very DFU. Make your way up these steps, scramble North a bit more and you're on Upper Broadway.
