on dingus's recommendation I picked up A soldier of the great war from the library. But this is the wrong time of the year for me to be reading. It's summer and the tour is on the tv and the sun it up late.
I haven't started it yet.

When American Airlines, in their infinitesimal wisdom, recently canceled my flight from Boston to Seattle, then rerouted us through FUCKING Dallas just prior to losing four people's luggage...
OK,
for the geographically challenged, Boston and Seattle are on a straight line. Dallas is, well, Dallas, and really not close to either Boston or Seattle.
Bottom line is I picked up Stephen King's "Dreamcatcher" as an alternative to putting an olive pick through my eye, and on closer reflection, the whole olive idea sounds mildly amusing.
AA charged us $15 per bag to take our bags at Boston, place ridiculously bar-coded tags on them, and then proceded to lose them and tell us the bar-codes really
don't mean anything,
We were going to ALASKA, and were packed for that. Call me stupid(you won't be the first), but four peoples rain boots, jackets, and clothes for six days were all gone, with America Airlines then and now denying any responsibility.
We spent almost $1000 outfitting 4 people with 2 outfits and rain gear.

I'm a huge fan of arthurian tales. I'm trying to do research of 'arthurianly' symbolic pictures, so I can start drawing up my next tatoo :)
It makes me happy to know that someone else greatly enjoy the tale :)

i didnt like spook country as much. not bad, but not as good as earlier works.
