Hello I am wondering how far is Suesca from bogota. The girlfriend is from there and is bugging me to take a trip. So if its not to far from there than its a possibility.

hi suesca is 1 hour from bogota, in bus youŽll have to go to portal norte and take the bus there till the entrada a las rocas. is really easy callme, 315-826-2051

Hola! Tengo planes para visitar Colombia este Agosto que viene. Voy a llegar a Bogota el 8, y quiero escalar mientras que estoy alla. Necisito alguien para mostrarme donde debo ir para escalar alguos routes de deporte!!

hey mate, is it also a good place for sport climbing? is mid october till mid november a good season for that in suesca? is there people at most times? cheers, michal

ok, perfect. but another question was WHEN? if it's rainy - you know for yourself.. not much fun staying in a tent or whatever else. so WHEN is the best season and is october/november a good time for that? cheers!

Any time is good, specialy since you plan to come for a long time. Suesca is quite dry most of the time, microclimate phenomenon. November may be a litle more rainy but you will never see rain all day.... or for several days.... usaly rains are acouple of hours..then you can send some routes that don't get wet... So come enjoy....
