Hello, I'm trying to find out the best areas to climb in Friuli Venezia Giulia. I used to live there but only discovered climbing after I left. Also I don't know anybody in the area who also climbs and would like to get in touch with some people who do. I would love to explore the area as I'm sure there would be some wonderful crags around. Is anybody a keen climber from the area or knows of a forum where I might find such climbers, or is simply visiting the area for a while and is keen to climb? (I speak fluent English and Italian)

Dardago or Erto are two good areas near Pordenone. There are many good areas Tolmezzo and Tarvisio and even Trieste. I will not be around until next October but would love to go climbing when I get back.
