While visiting Indian Cave State Park, I notices there was some sandstone there that looked climbable.

Has anyone climbed around there? Has anyone asked the state park system if climbing (not around the petroglyphs) is OK? I'll ask if no one else has.

Any other advice is welcome.

You realize, of course, that if you find anything climable in Eastern Nebraska, your reasons for climbing are going to need some adjustment.

Yup. But I'm making progress. I'm a step up from trying to look into this: (note drop off in lower right corner)http://www.flickr.com/photos/adamdawson/2697704670/[/iurl]

Well, looks like you'd get 12-18 feet of vertical there!

I bet you can't. Iowa is pretty protective of their sandstone. I would imagine NE is the same way.

Is there any on private land that hasn't been "talked" about?
