Hi I am a beginner climber, I have only done it once at vertical horizons in southern IL, and am planning a road trip to the quad cities area this weekend. I do not have equipment, but would like to know if there is anywhere within 60-90 min drive from quad cities that does outside, guided climbing. Obviously I would need to rent gear as well :)

I have yet to find anyone within the QC area that does guided and equipped climbs. however there is a possibility that around savanna, il, you may find a guide or several well equipped individuals. there are a decent number of bluff climbs that ive heard of around the sebula/ savanna areas.
I do reccomend a beginners kit from either climbaxe.com or mountaingear.com

Upper Limits Gym in Bloomington does soem of their classes at Mississippi Palasaides in Savana, IL. They do have gear at the gym, possibility....
