Is there not a google map set up to show where the routes and bouldering problems are? I will have my cell phone that does gps with google maps and it would be cool to just be able to click on a route and walk right to it.
If no one has this type of thing set up, then I'll start one when I go down in a couple of weeks.

Please don't...

Then we'd just have every cell phone toting gumbie and touron roaming the cliffs. haven't you seen the studies about walking and texting? Very unsafe....

Wow...
I must say that I'm surprised that this isn't a welcomed feature. I noticed that the routes section has a place for lat/lon, but they weren't filled out.

HCR's guidebook leads you handheld as it is. It is certainly not the type of place that really needs googlemaps, or GPS coordinates. If you can't find routes there with the existing guidebook, you should probably take up a different hobby.

Or just climb whatever looks good.

So do you have a military-grade gps? You do realize the accuracy of civilian units is somewhere in the +-10-100' range right?

Well, it didn't work anyways. I couldn't get a lock on the satellites outside of the campsite.
