Seriously, when are the morons that push internet ad spots going to clue into the face that THE most obnoxious thing on the internet is ad positions that make noise? And what if I don't particularly want to watch some dude recursively breaking his leg? BD, get your shit together and find a better marketing team.

Yeah it was kinda cool the first 2 times I watched it, now I try to navigate away from the rc.com homepage as quickly as possible so I don't have to hear that crap anymore

1. There is a glitch with this thread, on front page it says zero replies.
2. I have never seen the ad, you Americans are talking about, so I can't comment on that, but I have to deal with this Kokanee Beer ad, I don`t have the quickest internet connection so this thing is freezing a Photos section for me. Is anybody in Canada experiencing similar problems.

In reply to #1: It's because it was moved from a General to S&F.
#2 and following are beyond my control, hence the reason for the move.

I've never seen this ad. Mozilla firefox and ad blocker plus seems to take care of the problem.

I don't know what is wrong with you people. The admin for this site go out of there way to make sure we have top of the line animated ads with sound and everything and all ya'll can do is bitch. Same with keeping us up to date on important MMA title fights. They provide us with this service and you guys show no gratitude.
Would you rather look at the same old boring static ad?

Major problem for some folks that want to check on the site at work. Suddenly the sound track comes blaring over the top of the cubicle walls. Clearly a public service to keep folks from surfing the net during work...or breaks.
(So glad I don't work in a gopher farm)

OK folks, thanks for the feedback. We've pointed BD to this thread and they promptly responded by providing a version of the ad without sound. It should be live by now.
