Hi all, sorry, couldn't find this in a search--what's the best window for fall climbing in RR? (For long moderate trad classics...) Thanks!

probably october to may, depending on your heat and cold tolerance. january is usually coldest. Just pick something in the sun. winter break is a very popular time for visitors, but snow fell last year, making the higher elevations slippery. snow melts off locations with sunny exposures fairly quickly, except at high elevations. up through thanksgiving holiday the weather is usually great.
