The Adopt-a-Crag is the Salt Lake Climbers' Alliance's (SLCA) annual stewardship project. On September 26, 2009 the SLCA will be working on Ferguson Canyon, one of the cragging gems of Salt Lake – quick approach, great granite and shaded, classic routes. We’ll improve the overall experience for climbers and hikers by maintaining the trail, installing belay pads to mitigate soil erosion under specific climbing routes, establishing a sustainable trail to access the top of some cliffs, removing graffiti, and cleaning-up garbage.
