Are you looking for someone who can give you a lift or just a climbing partner in general?

Agreed. Although it is a mere 6 hour (+/- 2 hours) away from the Gunks, Adirondacks, Red, Lions Head, New River, The Whites...

Makes knowing a group of partners willing to drive essential.

Niagra Glen is good bouldering pretty close to buffalo. Grab a bus and find a few partners milling around.

If you boulder, Buffalo is a short drive from Niagara Glen on the Canadian side... as long as you can deal with border traffic. Tonnes of good problems at the glen.
