Right on, sounds like you're getting some good climbing in!

Can you tell me what, and where exactly is this Super Slaborama?

And has anyone else noticed fvck-ups in the route DB?
I see that the Bankhead Traverse, shows as "submitted by Ihategrigris".
JP the FA of an A2 route?
I find that doubtful for a few reasons, (but mostly because I put that route up in the early 80's).

Don't do super slab its the first time I have seen dirt bolted. I did it to try to access the upper wall for routing but the rock was poor. SS is not a route to do at all unless you want hangers

Update from Andy wrote:

This is from roughly between pitches 4 & 5 on the left side of Missionary's Crack. The climber in the photo is on the climb Rejection Of The Faith which suffered damage to the first two pitches

Ya, that's kinda what I said about the amount that came down too... only I used a couple 4 letter words out loud before I realized I was speaking out loud... at work... ummm, ya.

Unimpressed

It is a serious amount of rock that cam down though.

Too cold for rock, and only the odd enemic icicle out there, so I figured I'd see what NASA's up to.
73 Million Dollars Later...

I'm sure you all heard about NASA's LCROSS mission today, where they purposely crashed an unmanned spacecraft into the moons polar region, with the expected result of creating a 350,000 metric tonne debris plume in an effort to confirm the presence or absence of water ice in the lunar polar region.

The resultant impact and subsequent debris plumes were expected to be so impressive that they would be visible from Earth.

(A) is the little spec that NASA, pointed out in this photo
released to the press in order to prove that there truly
was an impact.

(B) oddly enough, was already present in the crater
(and $73mil cheaper)

OK.. I admit, that I set my alarms for 4:30 AM, put on 3-jackets and went out on my balcony, only to find a cloud filled, moonless sky. What the hell eh? Next best thing, I logged onto NASA TV's live feed to watch them split the moon in half in real-time. What did I see? The same as everyone else.. nothing, not even a little fart of dust!

It's no secret that sport climbing doesn't really rev my jets.
But I have to admit, last night watching Chris Sharma dyno off of 1 and 2 fingers up an overhanging wall.. over, and over, and over again.. having a special rope made up for him so that he could climb what was originally thought to be a 250', 3-pitch, relentlessly overhanging wall route.. in a single continuous push, was...

Shockedmind-bogglingShocked
(to say the least).

Makes one feel like a fairly competent 5.2 climber in comparison.
Oh ya.. he did it in 100°+ temps. to boot.
