Are you good? For having climbed for one year? I don't know. Are you happy with your progression? I don't mean to be trite, but it's a more important question in my opinion. You seem to have the basics of movement down pretty well, and your sense of balance on the wall seems really good, but you had almost no technique or control moving through that short roof section (and a few other spots as well). While it was interesting to watch you move so fluidly through most of that sequence, your climbing style seems incomplete. It's impossible to tell if this is just because you were focused on 'performing' that route a certain way, of it it's because you've neglected certain skill sets. You were also hauling through jugs the whole time, which reveals very little about finer points of technique and how far you've progressed. If I had to make an assessment, I think you probably have a fair bit of potential to work with, but I see numerous roadblocks for you to hit up ahead if certain aspects of solidly controlled, static movement aren't learned before progressing further.

Have to say that if we were pitting them up against each other in a climb off (to the death, of course), I'd throw my money down on her ftw.

to be honest, who knows if you are good from that video. It looked incredibly easy as you practically walked through it . And the one hand thing was just silly. New video please!

I dunno, this guy will keep on fighting 'til the end. I think I also heard that he can walk on water and fly, so I don't know why he is bothering with that traverse.

" I completely agree, while i was watching the movie i was almost saying the exact same thing, it seems uve had a lot of time on that " traverse route", try to do a vertical route that has smaller holds. then once u start getting routes down youll get better and better, its not about being good or not. its about pushing yourself to your limit and getting better at having fun :)
