I am going with a decent group of people and there will be a few relatively new climbers (including my self... i have been going a few times a week for the past 4 monhts). I was wonding about some nice areas with easier climbs as well as intermediate climbs so we could all have fun together. thanks!

J-Tree is so beautiful, any climb there is good!

If you want to toprope or lead climb, you'll need to bring some gear. Bolted anchors are extremely rare there and generally are only found where rappelling is mandatory. In addition, most bolted routes are runout.

For a decent size group you might want to try the Thin Wall in Real Hidden Valley or Dairy Queen Wall. They both have lots of moderate routes. Get there early, though, they are very popular on weekends.

There is some fun bouldering next to Turtle Rock and behind Cyclops Rock. You might enjoy exploring those areas.

Have a blast and bring a lot of firewood!!!

Sure. Just ignore those, and do the other couple thousand routes that are stellar.

Yes, I've always loved peoples complaints about the choss out here. Learn to climb and it isn't a problem.
