That's good for a semipermanent installation. If you want to move it around, there's always velcro.

for an indoor setup you're going to need either 6 crabs or 3 lobsters. You cannot mix and match however as the lobsters will attack the crabs and compromise your system. Make sure to attach your crustaceans to the belay loop as attaching to the tie-in points will tri-axial load the crustacean and kill it :P

I've never understood how crawfish fit into this. Are they just bigger shrimp for more difficult situations? or just a a substitute for smaller lobsters?

This is my big problem with lobsters. Sure they have an extended range, but so what. If I need 6 pieces for a pitch, I need 6 pieces. I would rather bring six crabs. They are lighter.

Well, jokes are fine, but it would be nice to get a serious reply or two. I'm just beginner trying to get started.

Well, part of why you aren't getting responses you feel are serious is that belaying, belay anchors, belay set-up are life or death things. Yeah, that sounds dramatic. And, you probably won't die from falling off a 15 foot wall. But still, setting up a substandard anchor can result in injury...and if it doesn't you might go on to set up substandard anchors in places where it is critical.

Get someone to show you. Look at how other folks do it. Then, you can ask more directed questions.

And, seriously, if you don't know how to use a crab (well, 2) to build an anchor, you do need someone to give you hands on instruction.

Your question is too vague to answer but perfect to ridicule.
