i'll be in dallas for a few weeks this holiday season. i'm not exactly sure what the dates will be, but i'm down for short road trips in cen-tex. i would also be down for any weekend trip leaving from dallas to hueco, or arkansas. new areas are prefered, but i'll take what i can get. no, i'm not a beginner, and yes i can spot properly. i've seen some sickness on zero friction, but don't know how to contact the posters about the new areas that i've seen. rrrrrrrrrrr ...and if you tell me there isn't bouldering near dallas, then you probably aren't the person i need to talk to.

I'm not going to tell you there is no bouldering near Dallas, but you do know how far Hueco is from there, right? Most people consider it a bit much for a weekend trip, unless you book one of those sweet cheap Southwest flights to El Paso. Are you familiar with the Nolan River area, just south of Cleburne (about 45 mins from Dallas)?

I'm not a pebble-wrestler, but you could make a trip to the Wichita's. Only about 3.5 to 4 hours from Dallas
