Hello everybody,

My son is missing since last Friday 11/27 evening. I actually have no idea where he went but he took all his bouldering climbing gear (pad, shoes, chalk) and some camping gear (sleeping bag and pad) so he might be around any climbing/bouldering area within a few hours of driving from San Francisco Bay Area where he lives and was seen the last time.
He especially likes Bishop. Maybe some of you or your friends were in Bishop last weekend and met him? His name is Artem, 18 years old, skinny, 5'10" tall, pretty good climber and boulder, driving dark blue Infiniti G20 license plate 5LLB914. Here is one of his recent pictures http://vitalchik.com/artem.jpg

If you saw him or his car please PM or call me 415-505-1684.

Thank you,
Vitaly.

I sincerely hope that your son is simply climbing, and his cell phone battery is uncharged and there is no way to reach him. My thoughts are with you. I wish you the best.

100% sure I saw him in the Buttermilks on Sunday morning.

Edit- He was perfectly healthy and climbing well.

Good to hear you saw him. Any ideas about his plans and where did he stay in Bishop? I called Bishop sheriff today early and they checked Buttermilk and Happies but didn't see his car.

You'd kind of hope this is really the dad and all intentions are good, or it looks a bit bad blindly posting pictures of teenagers online. Dunno. I hope all is well with him and he's sending that hard shit before parental authoritah comes down on him like a ton of bricks.

Well, I guess he's 18. I still don't know about playing cybercop though when we don't know why the kid took off. He's of voting age and can buy cigarettes, he clearly knows exactly what is best for himself.
