I am looking to put some smaller, harder holds to put on my wall, both normal holds and maby some jibs. I was wondering which brand holds people like to use. I am looking for value here, good quality, but they cant cost all that much. [ This Message was edited by: repete on 2002-12-07 23:41 ]

If you want smaller holds try Teknik. They are cheap made in Canada and really well designed. Variety is the key, some pusher, some tek's, some nicros, some Metolious... 10pack of super small jibs is $11 CDN Bought some today great for footwork and they do have a little edge for they are called Iskh or something like that. crimp away. relly is wonger spld edited to add nicros [ This Message was edited by: mustclimb69 on 2003-02-10 12:50 ]

Voodoo, voodoo, voodoo...I think Pusher may make better slopers, but voodoo's holds are bettter in every other category.

If you're looking to buy "top of the line" holds (Nicros, Pusher, Voodoo, etc.) take a minute to check what's on E-Bay. If you're looking for cheap holds then obviously www.cheapholds.com is your best option.

if you're looking to get smaller sized holds, make them yourself out of scraps of wood. Free!!! so its no harm. i've even made some nice jugs. just be creative.

I gotta add my vote for voodoo, if i could climb on only one hold type it would be voodoo all the way, a little variety is nice but man does voodoo rock, best texture, awsome no slip backing, amazing shapes, and my favorite art is that a lot of the holds have no awsome position, too many holds fit your hand perfectly in a spilt or pocket or crimp, but you never get that outside, the voodoo holds are more eralistic in that sometimes they just dont seem to have any "right" way to hold them and you have to settle on a less then ideal grip, jsut like outside matt
