Please refrain from moving threads over here unless they contain some sort of entertaining rage, offensiveness, butthurtz, allegations, racism or making fun of the handicap. Kind Regards, Arrogant Bastard, Esq. Manager of Campground Shenanigans

There is a difference between a personal attack - your momma spits on ladybugs - and a frank discussion involving expertise and judgement about someone claiming to possess both. We are a community of adults damn it and running to mommy for help is not the mark of someone who can LEARN from his foibles in order to better be able to interact with CLIMBERS. How am I going to be able to make the point I was trying to make that said person lacks good judgement and foresight and in my opinion should not be allowed to make decisions on whether directions to an area should be published. It is exactly because the individual is claiming and acting in a manner that he HAS the judgement - that a frank discussion on his judgement is desperately needed. THIS IS CENSORING.

Hmmm.... I'm going to to say that a post with the title "<name> you arrogant dooshbag" falls under the former category.

And all there was in that thread was lazy climbers complaining about lack of directions to a place that's been in a guidebook.

Well, I've got a hour and a half layover in Philadelphia on Wednesday. I'm afraid I won't be able to experience such radness from the terminal.

Hi Joe, I've climbed with you before. One day at Area 51 with my friend Simon two summers ago. You were a nice guy and thanks for showing us around. I don't need directions to the Rim, it's not that hard to find. I think Synrocks point is that Rob has posted directions to areas on private land that he knows little about. I could post directions to the Rim, the Trenches, area 51, Moc boulder garden, all the stuff around fe walter dam, etc but I won't because I have no idea about the land issues or the history. Can you see were some people may be coming from?

I'm not sure if I agree with the whole unprovoked attack thing since it is a regional issue discussion by regional climbers. Sure - the wording may have been distasteful. But who here (other than the most boring appies) hasn't called another climber a name over something they did over some local climbing related issue? The climbing community should have the right to be themselves on a regional level. You wouldn't want the government stepping in and telling you how you can talk to your family or neighbors........

Can you see were some people may be coming from? oh hey, what's up man? I didn't see any directions to private areas that Rob posted,so I'm not sure what area he is referring to. All I saw was a personal attack, and people complaining that he didn't post directions, which I am glad he didn't. Like you said, it's easy enough to find just by asking around. If the OP would have just Pm'd Rob and asked for directions, i'm sure he would have gladly told him where to go, and what to watch out for. Instead, he started a pathetic thread as an attack (and mispelled douchebag).

Regional issue. National, if not even somewhat international venue. Wait, let me get my dirty laundry out too!
