I live in the flatest part of Canada eh. I am reduced to climbing in a basement. I would love to learn how to slackline. Please I need to know how to set up one of these cuz I am losing my mind.

Are you in/near an urban city? Go climb on some of the buildings around there, or houses with rock siding. Or bolt up some holds someplace.

Do a forum search for the slack-setup...it's been asked a lot.

Good luck be careful... borrow your buddies skate gear, broken wrists are common.

Here's how I do it.

A = Anchor
B = Biner
- = Webbing
L = Length of webbing

A1 B1 ----B2B3----------------------B4B5 A2

1. Tie a clove hitch and attach it to B4, B5 which are attached to A2

2. Tie a clove hitch on B2, B3 about .3L from A1

3. Run webbing through B1 and back to B2,B3. Use B2,B3 as a pulley to tighten the line.

4. Tie off webbing (with a knot that can be untied while loaded) to B1 and there you have it.

When you are done, the clove hitches at B2,B3 and B4,B5 will be tight. Because you have 2 biners you can easiely work them free.
