Hello I am fairly new to trad and I have been assembling a rack piece by piece. I was planning an buying a chunk of gear in a few weeks but I stumbled upon a rack for sale while browsing around at a shop. I picked up the following. New BD C4 .4-3 with a double .5 BD C3 2 and 1 Aliens blue, orange, purple, and silver all post recall Metolius TCUs orange and red BD nuts 4-13 Metolius nut tool 7 BD quickdraws 8 Mammut Element biners 5 BD locking biners 15 BD wire gate biners Used 2 BD small locking biner 2 BD large locking biners 1 mammut ATC 1 Metolius gear sling 1 Petyl Shunt 1 Kong roller track thing... 2 BD daisy chains 8 BD 24 inch runners 4 Mammut 48 inch runners 1 60 meter rope... a bit dirty 1 BD BOA bag 1 Metolius rope bag I paid 600$ cash Thank you for your input

If all those 'new' things were attached to someone's rack they aren't new and won't warrant new gear prices, (unless the buyer is a moron or just being friendly) DMT

I'll bet the previous owner never had a chance to use that new stuff and the tags were still on the gear. You are right that it does not warrant new prices. I hope the previous owner is okay, just a financial rut.
