The Get Markup Help page will explain all you need to know. The link is above the text box when making a post...just in case you forget something. *edit to add-* Nice pictures BTW. The Whale shots are pretty cool.

Nice photos. What part of AK are you in? Looks like Kachemak Bay. Wish I would have had a "nice" camera with me for my trips to AK. Forgot to take a camera at all on one trip, and it was the best whale/fishing trip evar!

I live in Juneau. Ya, whenever you don't bring a camera out you see the most amazing things in the world. One day I was working and there was a pod of orcas and then a pair started getting it on. The male rolled over on his back and and let it all hang out. Some real NatGeo shit. I also have this technically crappy images of an orca pile driving a stellar sea lion, but was so stoked to see it I got a crooked out of focus orca in mid-air. Not a bad shot if you look at it after a few beers while your landing in a plane I suppose. There are memories, photographs, and then both, but its all good if you remember the day years from now.

Good stuff. One of the trips when I forgot my camera the was a whole group of grey whales, probly 50 or so. They were all sounding everywhere around the boat. Wouldn't have gotten any stellar pictures as it was foggy and raining, but seeing all those giants coming clear out of the water was still pretty cool.
