Just wondering if anyone knows what happened. I understand that some ice broke away, but was wondering if he was on rope, screws in or solo or what...?

He was on lead and not sure about the rope but that does not matter at the time. The whole pillar came down with him on it. I do wish him a speedy recovery

Thanks, the article I read seemed to imply he had broken away a small amount of ice and fallen and so I was wanting to know if the screws blew, rope cut, etc. I will read the link.
