I went to Haycock mountain with a friend today looking for Hanger 18. I was using the directions from http://www.paclimbing.com/...er_18_guide_page.htm. We found the parking lot described on this site, but then it says to hike the obvious trail to the boulders. We looked around for almost an hour and found no obvious trails or boulders. Where the directions told us to go was right in the middle of the disc golf course. Could anyone tell me either how to get to Hanger 18 from this parking lot or directions there from another lot? Thanks.

You may want to go to the main Haycock areas and veer over to the Caves area. After the Caves continue past and left on a trail. This will also bring you to Hanger 51. Basically the area is between where you parked and the Caves.

If Im not mistaken, the directions have you park after the overpass. You need to then walk back the way you drove in until you get to the gated road (it will be on your right coming from the parking area). You then cross a small stream and head up the dirt road. There will be a water tower up there and the trail is on your left before you get to the tower. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I had no trouble finding it when I went back with your directions.
