Yeah, there is actually a small climbing community in Eau Claire WI. We are mostly college age kids, if you are interested stop in to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire climbing wall during the week and you will run into most of us. The wall is open 6:30-10 sun-thurs. We will migrate outdoors here in the spring to some of the local areas (red wing mn, taylors falls wi, naceedah, etc.) If you are interested PM me and I can get you my number if you are interested in gettin outdoors come spring time. |

Well, it is nice to hear that there are other climbers in the area. I went to Big Falls yesterday and went bouldering and met another climber that just moved to the area. He was also looking for other climbers in the area. I am always ready to climb outside, I have been bouldering around Eau Claire all winter. Have you ever been to Jim Falls or Big Falls? They are alright, Big falls has a hand full of bouldering problems where as Jim Falls has quite a bit more. I will have to start coming up to the gym, how much does it cost?
