This quarry has actually been converted to a park. I am not sure of access issues. I used to tread pretty lightly when I went there. You could probably talk to the Racine parks departments and find out.

Yeah I know I used to go there all the time you park over at the hotel near the dam. And I stand corrected it was a limestone quarry Quarry Lake Park: 3501 Northwestern Avenue
Quarry Lake (photo) is a great destination for scuba divers and swimmers looking for spring fed water. Sunbathers will love the expansive multi-level terraced beach (photo). Once a limestone quarry, this park has been transformed into one of the best outdoor swimming and beach facilities in the area. As the name suggests, limestone rock was mined from the site years ago until flooding, and some of the equipment used in the mining operation was left behind. The park also offers picnic areas with grills, a large air-conditioned beach house with changing rooms, lockers, concessions, lavatories and showers. Scuba divers must be certified and pay a registration fee to enter and explore the depths of the Quarry Lake. A daily entrance fee ($1) is charged during the swimming season. Lifeguards are on duty daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Directions: From Interstate 94, exit at the Racine/Waterford (Route 20) exit. At the exit, turn east on Route 31. Turn right (northeast) onto Highway MM. Turn right (east) on Highway 38 (Northwestern Avenue). Continue past first traffic light. Quarry Park is the first right turn.

at the northeastern wall and sometimes the western wall. do you still climb there cause it would be more fun to go climbing with a group of people instead of just me and my friend zach.

the only draw back (to some people with expensive climbing shoes that you dont want wet) you have to jump off the cliffs then climb back up on the selected route you chose. its realy fun jumping off the cliffs i must say though.

Im the friend sharma21 was talking about.

The most thats ever happened there is the lifeguards have yelled at us with there mega phones from a distance away.

Theres also some potential for top roping, many solid trees and about 15 feet away from the cliff theres a fence with sturdy metal posts that go along side of almost the whole cliff.

Its preety cool because the north face is really tall limestone, and then on the opposite side it gets really bouldery

Within the next couple days im going to go take some pictures of the whole corey area for anyone thats interested.
