I'm in AZ until April 1, staying in the Gold Canyon, Apache Junction area and am anxious to climb these beautiful mountains I see every day. I am a climber from Michigan. The closest rock back home is about 4 hours away so I don't get out very often. I have been climbing for over 15 year, have quite a bit of sport and trad experience. I'm not picky about grades or routes but think it would be pretty cool to get on some moderate grades (if they exist) on the walls in Gold Canyon or near the Lost Dutchman's park. The bad news is, I don't have any of my trad gear here (just harness, shoes) so I'm hoping I can hook up with someone with gear, that wants a belay partner and someone to swing lead with.

No takers yet, only in AZ for 2 more weeks. Anyone out there know of a good place to meet/hook up with potential climbers?
