I'm from florida and traveling to stone fort next week to climb. I've had trouble as well finding a guide. However, I hear they have guides in the club house at the golf course.

I have heard that the managers of the Montlake golf course do not want a guide to be published for the general public. They do allow topos to be made for the comp however.

Last time I was there, they had guides available in the office where you have to check in. They were guides from the triple crown comp, however--so i think what john has heard is probably exactly right.
Even if you don't have a guide, just find some locals or people who seem to know what they're doing and ask them to point you to some good problems.
It's an amazing boulderfield, be sure to enjoy it.

Hi Lowballin,
I'm not sure if you went to LRC yet. I went last week and they sell the guidebook for $5 at the club house when you check-in. Try to find some locals because the guidebook is difficult to understand.
