I'm new to the QC and would really like to do some climbing outdoors...or indoors...anything really. Anyone have any advice, or want to plan a trip somewhere?

New to the site. In the QC at Michaels Fun world there is a rotating rock wall. Not much fun. Then there is Savannah in Illinois and Mount Vernon in Iowa.

There are plenty of locations within the vicinity provided you dont mind a half hour or so drive up around the monticello or sebula areas. number of good climbs around the monticello area ive yet to hit up this time around in iowa myself. i have gear for sport and some trad (working on re-building new rack) I myself am looking for climbing partners however within the QC/IC/CR areas as well with minimal results. ~Brandon

Yeah, I just relocated here from Denver, and would definitely like to climb on the weekends somewhere. I have a crash pad too. Feel free to email me, and i'd like to put something together. matthew.j.nicol@gmail.com
