Awl-right, edge! Now THAT's a TR! I'm so psyched to climb with my son when he's ready. And thanks for the pictures - Carver really dug them, although he was concerned that you guys were going to fall. I assured him of your skill, care & ropesmanship. He said, "that's a long long way down!"

Well done, all around.

Encore, encore!

Oh, yeah...

Do we have a "Best of RC.com" contest each year? If we do, this gets a nomination as "Best Trip Report."

If not, we need one.

Thanks, Edge. Great TR and a great read.

:)

T1 at best, try again Edge.

Just kidding. Great trip report, and congrats to Meg for her first trad lead and her 11th place at Nationals. It's really cool that you were there for both.

d.

Thanks, Loran. I missed this one six years ago. It took me a bit to realize that it was old. I was thinking to myself, "I didn't think Meaghan competed anymore. Isn't she in her 20's now?" Sly

Yeah, she is now 21 and about to graduate with a degree in math and education.

She also works at Carabiners on nights and weekends for spending money and wants to coach a youth team next year because of all the positive experiences she had competing and traveling to compete.

Yikes, my little girl is 21! I must be near dead!
