I just found some info about this place. I know its not ice climbing season anymore but I was curious if anyone has climbed there and what its like. I'm originally from WI but living in UT right now and am interested in possibly climbing there when I go back to visit family next winter. Thanks :)

I just joined up there this year. Great climbing, great people.

It's a private organization and it's on privately own land.
To climb there you need to be a member or a guest of a member. "Guests" are limited to two climbing days a year.

It's also top-rope only and the ice is "enhanced".

let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks! How much is a membership (I suppose I could just check the website)? And can a member just refer a guest or do they have to go climbing at the same time?

Yup, guests need to go with a member. (Although I just emailed them and said I'd like to join and they paired me up with someone for a day).

It's $200 for the season. but for the Midwest...i'll take it. Fees cover gear (ropes, webbing etc) and access.

You can go twice a season as a guest (30$ a go) if you decide to join this will go towards your member fees.

it's very very chossy.

We do (try) some mixed climbing on it from time to time, and holds break constantly.
