If anyone wants to check out a really nice bouldering spot in PA coal country, I just added a small topo for an area in Centrailia that was always a kind of secret spot of mine. If you live nearby or are passing through it's a really cool spot.
http://paclimbing.com/centrailia-page.html
The topo includes a few of the many classics there.
Access is pretty good but please respect the land Enjoy and climb safe

How sure are you that the boulders won't plunge through the ground into a fiery inferno?

Not too sure,

The ground echoes when you walk on it. It s better than a nearby spot though where I almost rolled into an open mine shaft wehn I fell of a problem!

That's great Rob. I cant wait to see some more areas around scranton posted. I'm going to be frequenting the traxx and morgan ridge this summer. I downloaded the PA guide yesterday and i see that there are quite a few more areas in this region that i have never heard about.

Yes, the new guide is great! I know a lot of people who already downloaded it. It has a lot of great info, and you cant beat 250 pages for 15 bucks. I can't wait for the print version!

The spot Rob just put up is really cool. I climbed there a few years ago. The route with the pocket under the roof is especially sweet!

Any official release date on the PA Climbing guide? We're dying to get it!

Most of the climbing we do in PA is in the NW. Will there be a separate online guide, or any freebie guides going up prior to the books release?

Rob you were the only one who didn't ask permission at bear rocks.... then for a while you were claiming it was on public land.... as per the bear rocks listing in the routes part of the data base. Get your story straight and keep it straight. I know it's tough.

jason1,You donít have to look to deep to find a long recurring pattern of very questionable ethics and bloated misinformation with that character .
