This is a post thanking everyone for giving me ideas for my mystery biner. I am still perfecting the design but already have a rather large company interested in it. Hopefully i can get it made then hook everyone up with a deal on them that wants one.

Your days of aider trouble and misloading biners is almost over...hopefully.

Pete

Wish me luck!

Pete, make sure you have a good contract lawyer look at the offer from said big company. They're going to be out to get the best deal for them, and you could get screwed if you accept it out of hand. Don't let anyone pressure you into signing anything until you've had someone of the legal persuasion make sure you're getting the best deal for YOU.

Hell, you could end up paying for college or being a professional dirtbag or something if you negotiate this right!

Good luck!

k.

GOOD LUCK MAN!!! :D

I know what it's like trying to put an idea on the market. I've actually got a prototype being looked at myself. Best of luck, and make sure you get those NDA's right!!

Did anything ever come out of this? I hope so; I'm intrigued.

No idea. Looks quite creative.

However, there are already carabiners with similar functionalities that are on the market now...

Interesting. I've never seen that Liberty Mountain one. It just seems to have the lock on the wrong gate. I liked that idea of being able to have your aiders and daisy locked, while being able to clip the same biner as a non-locker to your piece. Cool stuff.
