Unless you are alone, best thing is to rent a gite.
A gite is a house with all you need inside (except food).

In the gite you have beds to spare, and a kitchen.
Prices varies according to season. and where the gite is.

Maison Bleau was a great gite to stay at for a good price...

We only stayed for about 6 days, but Neal will give you all the insider beta for the best place to climb under each days conditions (we went during the summer and rarely got overheated), and he's a walking encyclopedia of routes and locations...that's worth the price of the gite itself! Check out his videos online also for a good selection of Font routes and locations. Also, Maison Bleau is nearer to Buthiers, 30 minutes or so from the town of Fontainebleau, which is more family oriented and so it has less car break-ins than other areas of the forest and 30 second approaches to great boulders...along with a pool with a great waterslide:) Best bouldering vacation ever!

I rented crash pads, while not actually staying there but I can promise Neal and his wife are cool!

+1 on the maison bleau.

Not to piss on the OP though.
