Not fir everyone, but you might have enough interest in writing or photographing to publish your own magazine.
For a long time, they was alocal climbing publication in North Carolina named Boulder Dash. it was an excellent magazine about climbing. Very regional, but excellent.

Could be a nice nich market, especially if the magazine can be downloaded to a kindle or other tablet. I would start it as quarterly.
