Hey, I started climbing about a month ago and have the bug real bad. The problem is I don't know a whole lot of people so oftentimes I'm bouldering alone. At the indoor gym, is it okay to wear headphones? I don't want to be that clueless girl so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks. -J

Sure, but you may find that when you do its harder to meet other people.

Based on your SN, do you climb at Stone Gardens? Almost everyone there is friendly so it shouldn't be too hard to meet new people, I would say avoid the headphones if you go when it is busy though.

Ha yes Stone Gardens! Thanks both for responding. I'll just make good judgment then.

a lot of people here wear headphones, and I wear them too. I take them out a lot though to try and be social.

Some gyms don't allow headphones for safety reasons if the bouldering shares the same area as lead climbs.
