Down in the Linville river! I think you're out of luck, I can't think of anyplace that is anywhere near there where you'll get a shower.

Get some Dr. Bronner's soap and bathe in the creek! Peppermint, biodegradable goodness!

The hike back up from Linville River will completely negate the shower. Its steep and long. Shower your insides with beer and he will forget about how much he stinks.

Agreed. I have a stone wall, sandbags and plywood sheet, too, and I'm squeaky clean.

There might be a YMCA in Morganton. That or a hotel might be his only options.

you could always try one of these http://www.rei.com/product/752797 we used to use it at the beach after surfing to get the salt off before a long drive home.

It's the Lady J! Women I knew on a sea kayaking trip loved that thing! Hey OP, tell your partner to use this: http://www.goldbond.com/ Gold is for wussies, the Blue is stronger. Shower in a bottle.
