Just looking for some beta on a trip to Joe's Valley I'm planning on taking at the beginning of October. It's going to be a bouldering trip primarily, and I'm wondering what guide book I should get. through research it seems that everyone goes by the black book (A Bouldering Guide to Utah) but that book is no longer in print anymore, or I just can't find it. Also, it seems that there is plenty of free camping, I'm just wondering what people have done for water, is there a spot to go get water and filter it yourself relatively close to the campsites? Any tips on Joe's would be much appreciated.
