The top rail (the one you hold onto as you set/reach for the anchors) at the top of GrapeApe/Peckerhead is cracked and hollow on the right side. If you pull hard on it, it may come down. I've placed a chalk X on it, but someday someone is going to throw 30 lbs of sandstone down on their belayer. It won't be me. Be careful! The left side of rail still seems strong.

The whole thing came down. It seemed as though only the right side was loose. Maybe it's 'cause it got pulled on in January when the sandstone is wet & softer? I don't know. Nice to hear that you lived. GrapeApe is still fine, but the finish on Peckerhead is now tougher. Not enough to change the grade (IMO), but enough to notice.
