Experienced rock climber thinking of Alpine Climbing. Would Whitney be a good choice? (Of course I would be going with an experienced partner)

Which route?

When I was a novice, I climbed the east face easily.

East Face or East Buttress. If you go through the trouble of getting the permits for that you should definitely do Fishhook ArÍte on Russell as well. I think thatís still the best route Iíve climbed even after 10 years of climbing.
