Heading there in May. I've seen a lot of people jumping OFF the cliffs. Anyone know if a pair of shoes will make for some good DWS while there?

Hey there... I just moved here last week and have been trying to scout out anything possible. I heard something about a waterfall near Lihue but haven't looked yet... There is some questionable bouldering in the south shore at glass beach. Have you had any luck scouting out anything?

Go to waialeale.org, he has pictures of canyons that look good for bouldering. Secret beach has bouldering, watch for spiders. Lots of seaside bouldering along the north shore. Opakea'a falls has bouldering but the area is closed. Up on Haupa there's sone promising looking stuff. It's the mountain you see to the south on the Lihue bypass road.

Thats pretty funny you mentioned that stuff south of Lihue on the bypass road. I am staying around Nawiliwili for the rest of this week before moving and tried to do some recon of the area. It looks good from afar, but hard to get to? Thanks for the tips. I am going to go see Kipu falls today as I heard you might be able to do some stuff there too, who knows. Any more info would be great...its a little heartbreaking to be around such beautiful mountains with so little climbing :(
